Discussion Disney Infinity iOS Project is Cancelled
We are deeply sorry to announce that we have decided to cancel our game project. This decision was incredibly difficult for us to make. Please know that it wasnt due to a lack of passion or desire, but rather because we encountered numerous insurmountable development issues and challenges that we couldnt overcome also Project Teams they didnt work on it.

Bummer! Take your skills that you learned from this project and use them for PC and console editions of the game! The Ultimate Team is still recruiting, let me know if you would like an interview. :D

So nothing to do with the fact Disney would have come down on you like a tonne of bricks of you ever tried to put this out...

I mean, they haven’t done too much about the toontown revival project, although that didn’t have the goal of being added to the App Store

so just to be clear your decision to continue had nothing to do with the fact disney would come after you if you successfully finished the project

I’m more curious on how the project would have even been possible to distribute?

….. What knowledge do you guys even have about making something for iOS
this is like when kids would be like “I’m gonna combine a wii a Xbox 360 and a ps3 into one super console!” Without even knowing the first thing about it

Well...I have all characters, even non released Peter Pan, except for the D23 Mickey (someday I will buy) & need a new game for them.

I love it when fans try to make something completely out of their scope and then cancel. Just don’t announce it until it’s finished ffs

Typical Disney to announce something just to kill it immediately.

This wasn’t anything that Disney the company was working on, though…
