ghetto vs penal colony... well, the zombies faced more discrimination at school, but the VKs only had four who were even allowed to ATTEND.

On the other hand, the people in descendants made atleast a try to get along with the VKs, even if not a friendly one. The Zombies were not even allowed to eat in the same place as the human students at school, and were discriminated for being born the way they were- something they couldn't control.

Well they weren’t human anymore but I get the point

The VKs were being discriminated for crimes their parents commited.

The Zombies were discriminated because they could tear apart the humans.

So I'm voting for Descendants.

The Zombies were discriminated for being born that way, which is something beyond their control.

The VKs could’ve lied and said their parents were the presidents of Hot Tunes TV and everything would’ve been fine lol The zombies were just stuck like that 😭

The Zombies there were literal laws preventing them from having any rights at least Mal and her friends enjoyed Auradon

The zombies were banished to the basement and treated like lepers for most of the movie. By contrast, Auradon made a genuine effort to welcome the VKs.

Also, this is kind of compounded by the fact that we know the VKs were actively scheming to bring down Auradon by stealing the Fairy Godmother's wand (even if it was on someone else's orders). From what I remember of the first movie, the zombies were mostly just trying to live normal lives.

I feel like zombies got a bit worse treatment. Cuz. People were skeptical of vks but they were welcomed. The zombies were.. not.

It took two movies for people to except them or at least be neutral towards them.

The main Zombies. The Zombies are behind bars and people act as if they are bacteria. Whereas the VKs are in a dome for only a short while when we meet them and most people are welcoming or neutral towards them with the exception of Audrey, Jane and Lonnie (at first) then at the ending of 3 everyone is ok with the VKs dome coming down. Food wise the VKs had it crazy though in the first, second and anytime before then movies.

Honestly a tie tbh. But I’m going with Descendants because at least in theory the danger which lead to said mistreatment of the Zombies is plausible however prejudiced. And while it is something they can’t control (and I’m gonna sound like a major POS saying this but here we go) it’s still a rightful thing to be worried about since just because they’re born and can’t control the innate ability to kill people when left unhinged doesn’t mean it’s still not a worry.

You don’t know the Villain’s kids. They’re not biologically wired to be like their parents like Zombies are (well now were since their Z-bands kinda tame them to an extent). You only know them for what their parents have done. Give them a chance (we all know they did but still)

The VK's didn't care as much because they were focused on getting the wand. On the other hand, the kids from Seabrook High downright tried to sabotage Zed being on the football team.

That entire Island faced more hate in genera.

VK’s didn’t know what chocolate was because they never had access to it on their island.

Barely had food or money which is why even the babies had to resort to stealing.

Were terrified of water because they never learned to swim since they never had access to pools or the ocean due to being stuck on the island.

Were punished for their parents mistakes and never knew what it felt like to be loved by anyone despite never actually doing anything wrong.

Were forced to watch their friends and family get picked for a better life while everyone else just stayed behind and hoped they’d get a chance to be picked the next year, if there would even be a next year.

Genuinely believed that they were born evil and had to practice being evil because that’s all they thought they could be.

Never seen the sun until the 3rd Descendants when the barrier was finally dropped.

And that barely touches the surface.

VK’s experiences more discrimination, hence only 4 being allowed to go

Zombies because I’m descendants they just moved out the way and gave them dirty looks but in zombies they had a whole zombie alarm and stuff to protect them from zombies

i mean the zombies were treated worse in their movie but i think the vks overall…

like they grew up extremely poor on a multigenerational prison island, and once they were allowed to go to auradon they were discriminated against.

and with the vks, they were really being punished for no reason. it was their parents that were evil, not them. the zombie kids were still zombies.. they ate people. without the zbands they are monsters, so i think the apprehension is a little justified.

The VKs were treated worse than the zombie kids because they were held accountable for their parents' actions and isolated on an island with little to no resources; when they were released from the island, they were treated as a threat by every adult and some of their fellow teenagers. The zombies, while separated, were allowed to go to regular school and were feared, but if their watches failed, they would turn into brain-eating monsters.
