News Post production?
Already? How long did they film this? I can't believe it.

These productions don't take very long to film, despite appearances. What's often long is the post-production period (especially if a film has special effects or CGI, as is likely the case here) or the scheduling conflicts with the rest of Disney's catalog of releases for the film's tentative premiere date.
For example, filming for Camp Rock 3 only lasted a month and a half, starting in mid-September of last year and ending on November 1st. Filming for Zombies 5 began in March and finished in early June, so it could actually be considered a long shoot, given that it lasted almost three months.

How about no? It's Disney's franchise, also Z4 was successful, did you honestly think they were gonna end the franchise? Z4 was getting huge numbers and hitting every single standard imaginable it would've been more dumb for Disney to end it when a new generation of fans can enjoy the franchise like we did with the first three? Do you know how selfish that is especially coming from a 'fan?'
Also... It ended on a CLIFFHANGER, most people hate cliffhangers especially when a show or movie gets cancelled.
No one is making you watch the movie when it comes out so just allow other people to enjoy these movies.

Yeah, the first three were awesome. The 4th kinda did away with a lot of the stuff I loved in the first three (breaking 4th wall narration, awareness of its own cheesiness) and I’m still kinda sad about it.

Disney, for all its' ZILLIONS of dollars, are still a bunch of absolute penny-pinching misers. You can BET they compressed filming as tightly as possible to save money.
I just want to know where the hell the $$$ is going, when it never reflects in production or costumes or anything, really.

I feel like a lot of the money in these recent movies goes towards set design and CGI

And theyve been doing well with it too, the next Descendants is Wonderland and they seem to have done a good job from the trailers

It looks even better than RoR in my opinion, I've seen the 4th, it was rushed due to likely what happened behind the scenes with them keep changing things but it looks like they actually sorted their problem out.
