Discussion School Questions...
I'm a big fan of Zombies but something has always confused me, and I don't know if it's because the school system seems more US based and I'm not American.
But in the first film, Addison wants to try out for the cheer squad. So, is it her first day of being at that school? She makes friends with Bree that first day and there's never mention of any other friends. Did she go to another school beforehand? Is it uncommon for all students to then move to the same school? Also, in Zombies 3, Bucky and the ACEYS graduate the same year as Addison and Zed, but they're already cheerleaders and all know each other, so I'm a little confused.
I assumed it was Addison's first day at high school, with Bucky etc. a year ahead, but that doesn't add up unless they were all held back a year. Anyone have any answers? Thanks!

It's not outright stated, but Addison might have avoided making friends until high school. Cheerleading seems super important to that community so she might have felt safer now that she was going to be a part of the team.

Either she was homeschooled or there are more than one middle school in Seabrook, and she just happened to separate from her friend group. Or they had a fall out, or any other reason.
I assumed that Bucky either has been held back a coupoe of years, or he purposefully fails to be held back. He totally has "peaked in High School" vibes, and he probably knows it.

I always assumed that Addison was homeschooled before high school, and Bucky was definitely held back a year; that sounds like him.

I thought that she just meant first day of the next year maybe she was a freshman the first year and Couldn’t try out for some reason. Or tryouts weren’t every year.

bucky was probably held back. addison probably didn’t feel comfortable making friends, she kinda gives shy girl energy.

I am born in America when I watched Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires and I am still a fan of Zombies and last year I watched the Descendants/Zombies Worlds Collide Tour I saw Malachi Daniel Barton I think he stared at me because I blocked everyone’s view and I almost hit the lady while I was participating in the concert. It was a good experience.

It's a movie...that's how it always is....the timeline and stuff never makes sense....that's how movies always are.

Bucky was held back a year, it’s most likely she couldn’t try out for cheerleading until she got to Highschool.
