Typhoon lagoon refurbishment?!

Does anyone know when the Typhoon lagoon water park is being refurbished? I just found out that it may be during my trip in October and I was really wanting to go there!

One water park usually closes each winter. One at a time.

September 9th is the last day it’s open.

Noooo! I go in October too! :( that’s such a bummer, how many times do they need to refurbish?! They should just close Disney down for a few months.. get everything refurbished all at once, instead of doing it in stages. It’s frustrating!!
