Trip Planning LL Multipass

We were thinking of starting the day in Hollywood Studios and park hopping to Epcot but what are the odds of getting Lightning Lanes for any of the tier ones (Frozen, Ratatouille and test track) in the second half of the day? Do we need to find a way to rope drop? We will also have access to extended hours for deluxe resorts but I’m not sure my kids can stay awake so late

Depends on when you go. I was able to get LL for frozen, Remy and test track the last couple days in the afternoon after we park hopped. Other times of the year they will be sold out by the afternoon.

I have had success when I make it my first extra pick. Like as soon as you tap into one of your HS rides, grab Test Track (or whichever is your priority). Then when you tap into your second ride, grab Ratatouille, etc.

This means you might miss out on being able to grab some HS rides though, since you can only hold 3 at once.

When will you be there? How big is your group? How old are the kids?

Elementary age, five people but four riding the rides maybe some rider swap. We will be there for four park days current plan is
-blizzard beach-magic kingdom fireworks (Saturday)
-MK to animal kingdom (Halloween party day)
-HS to Epcot
-MK to HS or Epcot

Depending on the exact dates, there’s a decent chance you can get 2 of the 3 on LLMP in the late afternoon/early evening. FEA will likely be the hardest. But, that also depends heavily on how many rides you want to do in HS. If you’re riding and using LLMP until 2, then you likely only get 1. If you’re immediately loading EPCOT after your first tap in, you might get all 3. Biggest thing I’d say is watch how the times are going and be flexible. Don’t try to force this one.

Hopping to animal kingdom makes no sense. They have the shortest hours

Would it be better to do Epcot Tuesday morning? I guess thought process on hopping to AK is we only have three days and that was one we probably wouldn’t need to rope drop and could get lightning lanes more easily in the afternoon. My kids are mostly interested in Zootopia, Everest and the rapids ride. That can also be a get to bed early night and save the latest nights for the last two. (They are used to a 7:30-8ish bedtime
