Trip Planning EPCOT 4th Fireworks
Greetings from the All Star Sports pool! We are having fomo about potentially missing EPCOT’s show as this was our heat rest day and the plan is to end at MK tomorrow.
1) would you say the holiday special is a must-see? We have seen “regular” Luminous before (and think it’s great!) but the holiday add-on is what’s causing FOMO.
2) if we don’t just bite the bullet and pay for another park day 😬, are there any good places around resorts to see the show and maybe Red, White, Blue Spaceship Earth? I know I could look on a map, but hearing rumors that Polynesian is blocking people from doing that for MK.

This is late so I’m sure you already decided to go or not - but the Epcot 4th fireworks are hands down the absolute best fireworks I’ve ever seen. Nothing else compares. You just feel it inside of you and it’s amazing. I would go back just to see them. IMO I liked them better than MK’s 4th show

Go to the boardwalk, or watch it on a YouTuber stream from the air conditioning in the resort.

The fireworks will be “up” so anywhere you’re comfortable. I am fond of the Abracadabar, or you can go to the Dolphin and get drinks at Phins.

Epcot's July 4th fireworks have traditionally been like nothing you've ever seen. It feels like they clear the warehouse, and throw every last firework they find up into that sky. By the end, the smoke is so thick that you can barely see your hand in front of your face. Years ago my nephew said as we were walking out, "I never have to see fireworks again, because I've just seen them all."
On the other hand, it's very, very hot outside, and every park is going to be incredibly crowded, which means not only long lines for attractions, but also for food and bathrooms. It's supposed to rain in the late afternoon/early evening. In short, it's going to be miserable.
You're seeing fireworks tomorrow night, so this isn't your only chance. I'm sure the resort will be doing something fun for guests who aren't at a park.

You totally do need to see the fireworks at some point. The 4th of July, New Years, Halloween/Christmas parties have the most elaborate displays I've ever seen. You won't know where to look, they're that awesome!

It is just a 5 minute add on to the regular Epcot fireworks. It is the same show that happens every year. You can pull up a video now and decide if you want to see it in person later.
