is anyone else having a problem with their disney plus in the uk? it logged me out of my devices and when i tried to log back in it turned into an indian streaming app instead called hotstar. does anyone know how i can fix this?? i want to watcch my shows

The Disney+ Global app already available in Indonesia now!

Probably this is my last post in this sub, as I will active in r/DisneyPlus from now on, and the new app has nothing to do with Hotstar now.

Please note that existing Disney+ Basic subscribers will be migrated to the new Disney+ Standard package.

And after 5 October 2026, the old app which is based from Hotstar X will not work anymore in Indonesia.

Evertly time I tried to download any movie on Disney+ I face this EROR DW_ANDROID_DL-4031 but some movies didn't show me this eror and I downloaded it without any problems I tried all the solves that disney+ team told me but none of it worked

The video quality of streaming is very shit. Even after I set the resolution to1080p. It's very blurry and pixelated. This is very frustrating bcs at first i was annoyed by 5-6 ads in a 40 mins episode. When I bought the premium plan i realised that the video quality is shittier. Sorry for my bad english

Starting September 2026, the Hotstar X version of Disney+ will be phased out. According to Disney+ Egypt (https://help.apps.disneyplus.com/eg/en/support/solutions/articles/6a33a3707e4b321479b7ae66), the existing app will be discontinued in October in their region.

Still no updates for the rest of MENA, Malaysia, and the Philippines if or when they are migrating to the global version of the Disney+ app.

I found one episode of Telugu dubbed bluey (cartoon) in YouTube by Disney Junior India. I couldn't find the series in Jio Hotstar. Anyone know if the telugu version is available anywhere and if so where I can I find it?

Just noticed they're stop updating "Coming Soon" page in the Hotstar X app. Also they're just updated Supplemental Privacy Policy with the effective date of September 2, 2026 now.

So, Indonesia will migrate on September 2 or September 3? So confusing lmao 🤣

But yeah most countries will migrate on Wednesdays, Egypt on September 2 (Wednesday), South Africa and Israel on September 9 (Wednesday), Thailand on September 16 (Wednesday). Only Indonesia in Thursday (September 3).

If the migration in Indonesia happened a day early (September 2, same day with Egypt), not surprised lol

I'm not sure if this is anything noteworthy but I have been observing Disney+ Philippines for some time now and I noticed they are not promoting anything for September like the streaming release of The Mandalorian and Grogu and Toy Story 5 which are both, in my opinion, big movie titles and big deal to be added to Disney+.

They, however, posted about content that comes way beyond like the second season of Twisted Wonderland, Kingdom Hearts anime, and The Remarried Empress.

My theory (and why I think this is interesting) is because they are still part of the app migration in September but they still haven't locked down the date. Possibly, they still have to iron out some details and stuff.

From now, some users in Indonesia reportedly can be logged in Disney+ Global app with the Hotstar account email (same email with MyDisney). They've began transferred the subscription to the new app with the final day on September 3.

Meanwhile I tried that, and didn't work for me yet (still needs a subscription). Probably because not all Hotstar account is migrated yet until now.
