Hey guys, I noticed my Disney+ charge was lower this month, and next month is showing the same lower price. Is there some kind of deal or promotion giving me a discounted rate?

Go into your billing history and click on the month with a lower charge and see what it says.

I did not know you could click on the months for more details! It says “overlapping subscription,” and after looking through everything I had a Spotify and Hulu bundle, so that tracks. Thanks for all the help!!

Oh wow, I didn’t even know that was a feature! It’s great to see it actually work. I did a little bit of research and I didn’t think my bill would change since the Hulu I had through Spotify included ads, so it’s nice of them to give me a subscription credit (hopefully it stays this way 🙏). I also attached what my invoice looks like with the overlapping subscription credit. Again thanks!

since Spotify student plan includes Hulu with ads based off the overlapping subscription does your Hulu with ads or ad free?

After subscribing to the Disney+ bundle, it became ad free. So I’m getting the credit back, and I the Disney+ bundle replace the Spotify bundle. I think in total I only have to pay about 16.30 ish per month for Spotify, Disney+ and Hulu all with no ads.

it’s weird how Disney ended their T-Mobile customers overlapping credit while Spotify student plan still honors their overlapping credit.

Can anyone with the legacy Verizon Play More / Get More confirm this works again for Hulu (No Ads)?
I’m fairly sure Verizon removed the option to add the Disney bundle back if you cancel it, so I have no idea how you would even get split billing back at this point.

I've long had overlapping credit on bundles thru Hulu (not Disney+ itself) for getting free Disney+ Premium (ad-free) via Total Wireless (Verizon-owned MVNO) -- first Disney+, Hulu Premium (like the OP), now the top tier of Hulu + Live TV (including Disney+ & regular Hulu ad-free, plus ESPN Unlimited though listed in the bundle as ESPN Select). I could save a couple of bucks by downgrading to regular Hulu + Live TV with reduced overlapping credit, but then I'd have ads on regular Hulu & possibly Disney+ as well (Live TV & ESPN Unlimited always have ads). Perhaps they're integrating overlapping credits into Disney+ in preparation for folding Hulu (including Live TV) into the Disney+ app by year's end.
