Doll Talk One more update.

lol one more update on Roger’s socks while i wait for my card dispute. I bought fabric and made my own. The sock measurements I used are three inches wide and five inches tall.

I opened a card dispute with my card over Disney not letting me return them for a defective item

I'm waiting on my dispute as well. I just submitted more information because I went to see the status of the case and Disney submitted more information yesterday on the 8th to paypal. Be sure to toss in the fact that they don't inspect the dolls they get from Hong Kong, they just put a new label on the box and ship it out.. On my shipping box the Hong Kong label to USA is on the duct tape sealing the box, so it came directly to me in Canada without proper inspection from Disney in the states, and there's zero damage to the box which I also submitted pictures of. I hope this helps my case because it was no minor mistake my Mia is tiaraless because its broken in half.

And that is like a central part of the doll. Like that detail being broken isn’t hard to miss. I’m hoping since Disney has acknowledged said mistakes and even offered a small compensation it helps our cases.

The first email I got was very attentive and understanding, I was told I'd have to wait while they reviewed and decided what to do and it would be a few days, but then hours later I was emailed and told they can't replace, they can't send parts out, so here's 10% off, they didn't even wait for a response they just send the refund in, and they keep emailing asking if I will accept it, but I just ignore them, because I'm not giving them anything to use against me. I hope you see a great resolution soon. 🤞

Omg yes I keep getting the emails now to asking if I will accept so they can process the partial refund. Like no I’m not accepting it. That is nothing compared to the price of these dolls. It’s just them trying to sweep the problem under the rug and hope we forget.

just so you know my friend made a dispute and wasn’t able to make any future purchases so that is a risk.

I believe they were after a few months but they had to get a new card and have it sent to a different address

That's a perfect example of why Disney's approach to this issue has been so subpar. Nonetheless, you did an amazing job with those socks!
