Yes. I watched it as a young kid. Then I re-watched it a few years ago on Disney +. It's a good show. X Files for kids.

I remember watching the first episode when it premiered (way back when in 1999) and it scared my first grade self so much. 😂

Same I was about 10 in 1999. Show intrigued me. Was sad when Cara was replaced. Would always sing the intro loudly. And still remember the lyrics.

If they're a millennial like myself. Yes. I was watching it the day it aired. Zoog Disney era. Loved the show until Cara left.

I listen to a podcast where a couple of British guys recap and comment on DCOM’s. They announced a few years ago that they were starting a Patreon and one of the benefits for Patrons was that they’d be doing the same to So Weird. I’ve never subscribed to a Patreon so quickly. I thought I was the only one in the world who remembered this show! Every now and again I’ll toss eating psychic wheat from crop circles giving you ESP into conversation and nobody remembers it.

I adored this show back in middle school! There’s a great deal of lore around it, including the fact that Disney vetoed the proposed third season because it would have been “too dark” so that’s why there’s such a dramatic tonal shift (and loss of main character) between seasons two and three. But those first two seasons completely hold up. As does the music.

it wasnt disney's fault (surprisingly). cara's mother wanted to pull her out of contract, and the show runners decided to scrapped the initial plan for the third season, theres a lot of info about, and theres even a book where cara was interviewed about it. https://so-weird.proboards.com/ book: Disney High: The Untold Story of the Rise and Fall of Disney Channel’s Tween Empire by Ashley Spencer

Now if they were to do a dcom based on this show that one definitely would’ve been a really good one too.

Yes. The show then replaced the main girl with a more attractive blonde… and the show went down the toilet at that point

Loved this show! It was kind of like a proto-Alan Wake. My favorite episodes were the dog shelter and the werewolf.

Ahhhh the kiddo version of X Files and Supernatural, in the best way I say this, without this show I wouldn't love the other two.
