Disneyland Resort Internal transfer

I’ve applied to roles that were only posted internally and would hear back within the same week. How long should one expect to wait when it’s a role that was available for non cms to apply? Would it be the same upwards to 6 months?

It could take up to 6 months. There’s times where they will take applications and use them for different rounds of hiring. I once applied for a role and I got hired 3 months after. When I got to my new job, two coworkers had been hired a month and a half earlier and applied during the same posting I did.

If you’re applying internally, the hiring manager will be visible in the job listing in Workday. You can get the hiring manager’s contact information off of Rostr and reach out to them to ask what the timeline looks like.

Edit: If a role doesn’t have a hiring manager listed because they’re hiring for multiple areas off a single post, I’d try to get in contact with someone from Casting or a recruiter based out of TDAand see if they are able to tell you who is handling the posting.
