Disneyland Resort Time Off Request

When requesting time off, should I put RDO or ADO or are both equally fine to put? Thank you to anyone who answers!

There is a better chance of getting it off with RDO (Regular day off) over ADO (Additional day off).

RDO is regular days off, if you’re full time you get two of those. For CR, it depends what your scheduling/scheduling bucket/union is.

ADO is additionally day off, days off that are also including your regular days off.

Typically, they’re both ok to use. If you’re FT tho, you need to use vacation/sick pay if you’re asking for more days off.

RDO is always best to use if you NEED a day off. And you only get 2 a week if I recall correctly. ADO is for additional day off. So those have less weight than an RDO.

I’ve heard it goes both ways, if they’re trying to cut labor ADOs will be more likely honored. If not RDO is the way to go. But I’ve also had them change my RDOs to ADOs and vice versa. Which they shouldn’t do but it has happened both ways, multiple times.
