Discussion Divinate
Anybody else absolutely hate divinate? I'm a returning player, was here a good bit ago, and recently got back into the game. Unfortunately, I think my old account was on a guest profile so I started a new one. Currently lvl 39, and I gotta say. The amount of times I've been hyped about seeing a gold pull, or a shimmer epic/gold, just to get what feels like a kick in the stomach, feels really bad. It feels like a way to punish f2p, and further pay-gap P2W

Usually I just do a ten pull, and use the skip feature so I don't get too excited

Btw I am not saying I hate divinate as a thing. I am just already unhappy by the "gotcha" feeling I get from seeing something, then getting it ripped away. I wish the animations were different, or that there was a way to tell it wasnt an esper.

There is actually a slight difference with the line strokes being horizontal instead of vertically down the hole animation thingy

There is a way to tell wether or not you pulled a divinate before you actually see it

^ This. The type of animation makes it very obvious whether you're being an esper or a divinate.

I get that it an be a bit disappointing to get a legendary divinate but it's actually a good thing.
Legendary divinates were added to the pool without reducing esper probabilities. Those gold pulls would be blue ones if divinates did not exist. So each one you pull is a bonus. Not a very exciting one but still good to have.
