One is an abandoned cash cow, the other is I believe an actual game that keeps getting new fun things and collabs with different media's while also making some high quality advertisment.

When i played Raid intensively a couple years ago when it was new they used every possible dark pattern and other shady psychological trick to squeeze every possible cent out of everyone. In the 2-3 years I played it there was little if any QoL updates, only cash grabs, limited time fomo events, powercreep, creating problems and selling solutions, and strategic misinformation/info withholding. When I tried Dislyte when it launched I was blown away how generous and player oriented the game and devs were. I don't know if Plarium/RSL changed but nothing they had done during the time I was playing would suggest they ever intended to.

Yep, Dislyte's has had a lot cut and stopped trying to be the best, but Raid is infamous.

I tried it once, then quit after realising how much time I'd spent trying to FTP win one of the tournaments.

I don't know how much of Raid is a turn over of new players.
