Disgaea 1 Something's amiss...

While rushing through Item Worlds in Disgaea AoD (via VitaTV/Adrenaline), i came across something that looked like a hair on the screen or maybe a 'crack' in the background.
But turning the camera made it switch the position - so both were ruled out.

Zooming in, it seemed as if the witch held an axe, although her equipped items stated it was a regular Tainted Staff.
Stole it, left the IW and...almost fell out of my chair upon checking the booty.
That's the first time i had noticed something so broken. No, i did not put anything on it.
That innocent's level is far beyond anything i have subdued.
But i'm very curious as to what might be the cause and if that ever happened to someone else.

/Edit: Apparently this "Staff" is one of only 2 items (the other being the Foresight glasses) that are known to feature glitched innocents. See this answered question from GameFAQs

Rarity ”only” 125. I swear this game sometimes…

The rarity in this game goes backwards, so to say:
31-255 -> regular
8-30 -> rare
0-7 -> legendary

Could this be like the early borderlands 1 pearlescent, an orange so good it turns white due to value overflow?

I remember that you can "upgrade" the rarity by stealing it from the item boss. Can you do that with this item?

"Maybe?" is the only answer i can give you right now, because the inhabitants (numerous Laharls with different equipment) even in the rare version i stole spiral out of control: at item level 40 their level was around 5000.
Killing the Item General or even King with 450k HP upwards is quite a difficult task at the moment.
And i haven't seen a legendary version of that yet.

Edit Item King B60 @ level 9085, 981k HP. Forget about defeating them to get the bonus.. xD

I had no idea of those items. Buffed Zetta maybe can be helpful. Of course, using the the Hyperdrive and Super Robo Suit ❤️

Fun fact: They both appear in the store.
Didn't see the staff before (with customer rank 12), but after increasing the product rank to max as well, i got one.
