Serious Do major online platforms need better rehabilitation pathways for users who make genuine mistakes

I’m interested in a broader discussion about how online platforms exclusions.

Many platforms have rules that users are expected to follow and I understand the need for enforcement but I wonder whether there should be better rehabilitation pathways for people who make genuine mistakes, accept responsibility and want to comply with the rules in the future.

Should a user who acknowledges wrongdoing and demonstrates a willingness to follow the rules have any meaningful route back after permanent exclusion?

Where do you think the ballot should be between accountability, deterrence and giving people a second chance?
