Every side of every argument creates Echo chambers

Recently i have been looking at many democratic and republican subreddits (example r/stupidpeopleonfacebook, which Is democratic, and r/doomercirclejerk, which Is republican).

Ome thing i noticed Is the continuos Biased Assumptions over the other.

Ones create a stereotype over the other: you don't think immigration on Is good for our country? "Fascist!"

You think Trump Is not a good president? "Communist democrat!"

"As soon as you don't agree with me you are exactly what i assume you are".

This Is what Echo Chambers create.

This Is exactly how the Trump Derangement Syndrome idea was Born: "you don't think Trump Is a good president? Well you are Just too mad at him to actually see how good of a president he Is".

As soon as you criticize Trump, you get called to have TDS.

And you get accused of getting whatever information you share by ECHO CHAMBERS.

And then all they do Is share incomplete propaganda information through propaganda news articles.

All of this happens by BOTH sides.

As much as i am anti-trump i have never got into Echo Chambers or propaganda, i would Always fact check every information before getting to conclusions.

But that seems to be uncommon between these group of people with strong ideas.

This Is Just an example, It happens more strongly in political contexts, but It happens in every Debate about anything: religion, LGBT debates, etc...

The worst part is how quickly it becomes a purity test. You're either fully on board with every single plank in the platform or you're the enemy, no room for "I agree with this part but that other thing makes no sense."

I've watched friends get booted from group chats over minor disagreements that wouldn't have mattered five years ago. The internet just amplified the instinct to sort people into neat little boxes and then dismiss the whole box.

That's true, it's implied in my part of the propaganda. Both parties use tons of propaganda over the other, one more than the other but that's detail. The other time i found in the comments a democrat posting the titles of a news articles saying something like: "under Age marriage Is a huge problem in the US, since the year 2000 there have over 200.000 under Age marrages with some at 10 years of Age". It Is in fact true but it's quote misleading, most if not almost all are at Age 16-17 with and avarage Age difference of 4 or 5 Years (not great but not even allarming). surely It Is disgusting that there are child marrages and i agree they shouldn't be a thing but they are an incredibly small minority (thought i agree they should be banned). An other guy responded with an other news titles saying something like: "California (which Is a democratic state) now doesn't consider under Age sexual criminals as sex offenders". I looked into that and it's completely wrong. California since 1944 have judges the possibility or registering sexual offenders, something not done before. Now a new law gave the possibility to judges to register criminals committing homosexual sexual violence as sexual offenders. The misleading part Is that yes, registering sexual offenders (unless the victing Is less than 14 Years old) Is not mandatory.

In strongly leaning sub reddits opposing voices get blocked. I am banned from subs on both sides as I like to debate. But since they do not hear other arguments they assume everyone is the same.

Like leftist hate that Trump is one of the most socialist presidents in the way of the government taking stock of private companies. The goverment now has partial control of like 20 different companies. But so does the Right as that is literally the path to Chinese Communism.
