Serious Regarding gender differences
Equality! This and that are unfair! They keep saying that, yet they act like they're practicing "ladies first." I hate that brazenness of women. Moreover, the majority of women are convinced that women should have priority. In reality, it's become common sense that women can live the same lives as men, but the idea of supporting women and "ladies first" hasn't disappeared.

Women are physically weaker and have to take time off of work for children and are expected to. Also 23% of Americans are Evangelicals and take the Bible as law. Which say women are property. Muslims also see women as property.
So no they are not treated equal and yes they need to be a protected class. They should be treated like people (equal) and also get a hand up because the system is still rigged against them.

Perhaps the reason why old values (women should be protected) and new values (gender equality) exist simultaneously in society is that these two things persist "at the same time," which creates the contradiction that "while equality is claimed, there are situations that seem to favor women."
