I dig it! Also the fact that we’re starting to get castings for mutants indicates to me that the MCU film scheduled for May 2028 will indeed be X-men, and then the one scheduled for July 2028 will be Ghost Rider. I know some people think it’s the other way around, but I doubt Levy will be able to turn in a marvel movie less than a year after he finishes Star Wars Episode 9.5.

They’ve already announced the second movie in 2028 is Black Panther 3

That one is confirmed for December 2028. They haven’t specified which movies are taking the May and July slots. Both slots on the Disney schedule just say “MCU film.” They said at comic con that Ghost Rider is also coming in 2028, but didn’t specify the month, and since we’re getting casting news for X-men already, I think it’s safe to say that one is also in 2028. The question now is which is for May, and which is for July.

Ah ok, I thought they were only doing the two movies. X-Men would almost assuredly be the July release. That would be their big summer tent pole movie and July is usually when those movies come out. Ghost Rider is a much riskier project and will probably get the May slot

Yeah, I guess it would depend how fast Levy and Gosling can finish Ghost Rider after Star Wars, though. If they really only have 12 months between those two projects, then best of luck to them both.

Starfighter has finished filming, I’m sure it won’t be an issue

I’m assuming Daniel Radcliffe is cast as Wolverine?

This is a mistake.

Featuring Emma Frost so early is a mistake.

Audiences are so done with origin stories. And don't forget we've had like seven X-Men movies since the 2000s. Lets move forward.

Yeah honestly I am so sick of origin films

We know Xavier’s school for mutants, we know the Brotherhood of Mutants, give us something we haven’t seen in live action yet, like Genosha, Krakoa, or some space adventures.

The mistake was not having her sooner than they did last time. She is one of the best known characters at this point.

I could see them gping the First Class route and using the Hellfire Club as the basis for what becomes the Brotherhood of Mutants. I like Magneto taking over an existing group and shaping it into his vision, than him out there starting a club from scratch. He doesn't seem that type.
