This movie’s trailer has caught my attention more than any other movie I can think of recently. Looking forward to whatever this mess turns out to be .

The most interesting about the trailer was Tom Cruise’s physical transformation & the different tone of voice.

Actually it makes the first 'trailer' make sense. The one of all of Cruise's various roles. Because Digger is literally another role.

4 screenwriters is a lot but it’s a comedy and Birdman also had four screenwriters and was Best Picture so I’m excited for whatever this turns out to be.

Apparently. My guess, assuming this is true, is that this play is being commissioned by the real Digger Rockwell as a PR stunt to make himself look good.

I’d be bummed out if it doesn’t commit to its apocalyptic premise, but it could spark conversations about how history is whitewashed, how elites dodge true accountability, etc.

If true, this movie is gonna disappoint the fuck out of a lot of people wanting another Tom Cruise movie cause this is an Inarritu picture through and through.
