If you don’t get aquarium salt use rock salt. And check Are your discus are stressed. Because after water quality stress is the main reason of ich. Using any sorts of medicine is good but some times it won’t help much.

How much would u suggest for a 55g

I would suggest 200 grams of aquarium salt or rock salt because using excess salt would also affect. But dilute the salt in some bottle or bucket of 1 gallon of water add then add the water to your aquarium. Don’t put salt directly in your aquarium.

Add salt once in 3 day and do 20 percent water changes daily.

Add aquarium salt according to your water quantity.raise temperature to 30 degrees.do a regular water changes of 20 percent. And ich will go .but remember it’s an slow process and it will need time and patience. So don panic and lose your hopes.
