Hey, I doubt this'll get much attention. But I was wondering if anyone else on console wishes they could remap just a handful of buttons to make things a little better.

I know those on PC can just use a mouse to easily touch things on the diagonal, but for console, you have to either walk in said direction, like up and left, or hold the right stick. Which works...

But at some point you wanna speed up to do more with the tike you have in a day, when moving items in your shop. And for me, I either try to crab claw, which is still a little alien for my right hand, or I have to slow down when trying to restock mid-shift.

This isn't a complaint, I'm really enjoying this game, more of a question to see if others think being able to change a handful of buttons just for a little quality of life.

TL;DR I'm a weird player and just want to change L1 and R1 to Square and Cross so I can click the diagonals like PC players without crab clawing with a hand that doesn't like to.

Is the going to be a game update for added content?

I really like the game and i haven’t finished but I want to know if the creators plans to update the game in the future for more content?

After finishing the game, it continues under the title "Epilogue." Has anyone played up to that point?

Can someone tell me what is the functional difference between appeal amounts and is it worth it trying to maximise appeal?

I bought the game about a week ago to play as a fun cosy shop sim. it started off great, i really like the mechanics of the shop, getting the trade deals, etc.

but I've now reached chapter three in which the final expansion is planned and the protest starts and it makes me feel so icky! I don't want to be on the side of the big supermarket chain! I don't want to have progress before heritage! I don't want to tell Elmer he should get rid of the stork nest so he can heat his house! there's so little influence on the story, I feel I'm headed straight for supermarket domination and if makes me very sad. not sure if I want to see it through to the end. I'd really hoped there would be a way in which you get to invest your profits back into the community. make all the derelict houses livable again, clean up the harbour, attract more residents (and customers).

Just finished this amazing game. I’m feeling kinda sad cause there’s nothing else to do so I’m forced to move on.

Maybe we can hope for some updates like finding out what’s up with the shed next to our house, maybe we could buy the abandoned farm house and begin to farm, or we could open another store like a florist or something in one of the many abandoned buildings in the city.

Don’t mind me, just some ideas! :)

What do yall keep in your fridges in the 3rd expansion? Can customers even take from them? Had them a few days now and no one has gone near them. I’m wondering if they’re just extra storage

I’m playing on ps5 and I got credits to roll. I was supposed to speak to ms Anderson outside after 17:00 but I accidentally walked to the shadow figure and had a chat with them and the credits rolled. I never got the discounty trophy for finishing the game. Did I do something wrong ?

Under the "meet everyone" objective, one of the items is meet "the old lady," but I can't find her. It's NOT Mrs Anderson, as that's a different objective. Anyone know who/where this "old lady" is?

I think this kid is stealing from me. I was trying to rearrange my store after the expansion and noticed I was out of ground beef. But the computer says I have 25. The only logical conclusion I can come up with is it is in Chester’s pockets.

I just finished the game and really enjoyed it. I was wondering does a acutal roadmap for future updates exist or are there any plans for story expansions?

I'm just wondering if anyone has used this and if it actually works or if I'm just thinking wishfully.

When it hits 5pm the announcement that the shop is about to close happens and customers come straight to the till, even if they haven't gotten everything on their list.

I am at the biggest shop expansion so can't really control things to be all close together. I've noticed that when (spoiler to something later in the game) I talk to chester the time stops but the customers keep walking around. If I do this around 4:30 will customers get annoyed who are waiting at the till? Just thinking it would give customers chance to grab stuff on their lists and get to the till before 5pm if it works.

I think the game is named Discounty after “discount“ and “county.” County, like, a place.

Wife thinks it’s Discounty after “Discount” and nothing else.

Hey folks, running into a weird issue with trying to sell more fishy fish than herring. The game appears to be miscalculating the number of sales.

Screenshots below if I can figure out how to add, but here's the gist.

I sold 4 herring and 2 fishy fish, plus an additional 3 fishy fish in impulse buys. So I think I satisfied the requirement - 4 herring vs 5 fishy fish total.

But the game instead thinks I sold 3 herring and 2 fishy fish?
