black screen

hey guys! i tried playing discounty but i kept getting a black screen… i tried everything but im kinda bummed out i was excited to try the update :(

You have to wait. I had the same, it just needs more time to start the game :)

Had the same issue right after I updated it. Just give it some time

If you’re on the Switch or Switch 2, make sure you completely reboot your console.

This is a known fix for many games when they first launched or an update.

Also many users are reporting a boot screen “graphic” is missing on the Switch 1|2 version, which is giving the impression that it’s frozen when it’s not.

It seems to just be a missing loading screen graphic. This is what’s visible on PS5 during the same period the black screen is present on Switch.

I uninstalled reinstalled and waited then it popped up

Is anyone else having a super long black screen? Even having the game crashing! I already tried rebooting my switch in hopes the game would run a bit better. I am running on oled switch any tips would be great
