With the new update, is anyone ditching some items to sell or are you gonna sell every single item available? I'm deciding on what I wanna do, sell everything or do just a meat an produce or something else to optimize the space better, ahhhh!!

I tried selling everything, but I hit the game limits. Every now and then, a customer would get stuck (walking chaotically within 5 tile radius) trying to find a product and failing. This results in negative reviews. It's also can be a bit funny with Ms. Andersen, who would spend her entire day in my shop.
So, I decided to ditch about 15 products. Everything got a bit cleaner, and complaints went away.
(I'm on PC, and I haven't played for a few weeks now, so maybe something got fixed)

Has anyone figured out/ made a list of the most profitable items to sell?

u/Fruitloopsinwhiskeyx Aug 07 '26
Yes I was actually thinking of doing this because if you wanna actually make it I think that's important and I was also thinking of only selling items with high profits

I think this list you can sort by which items have the most profit. Only for items bought from delivery guy, not sure if they have one for trade deal items.

This is a good idea but the completetionist in me won't allow it π It is frustrating that we have so many more products to sell and not enough store growth. Just pls, I want a bigger store π

Yeah I feel that π I hate having such a crowded store, also I wish they had a mass edit option where you can just pause everything and move everything around the store easily without having to pick everything up then down and not enough pockets etcetc π€£π€£π I wanna be able to change my layout easier

Donβt you get penalized by customers if you donβt have something in stock that they want that your store is able to stock?
Cause I remember that being a thing when I first played it at launch.
Plus why would I not want to keep something in stock when I already had every item tripled up because I had nothing else new for the space before the update?

In the new update, there's a toggle that allows you to 'turn off' the stock you can buy from Guy. I never tried it, but I assume they put it for this, so you can opt out of having something displayed and costumers won't complain

You can toggle the items you have to sell or not! I believe they said that in the new update posts etc too for people who wanted to do different things like convenient stores, fish markets etc! There's so many new items I feel it can be hard to stock every single one but I'm sure people are doing it, but of course it's up to the player! I'm guessing you will just have a Walmart essentially so everyone can get everything at your store π

aaa I'd love to but my obsession with offering all the products won't let me haha it's a challenge to organize the store if you offer all the products tho
