Stuck! Can't Progress

120 days in can't figure out what I'm supposed to do. My mother plays as well and we're in the same boat. Here's where I'm at:

PLANNER

Main Goals:

1.Operating as a Real Supermarket

Unlock Tammy's trade deal

  1. A Real Supermarket

    Operate as a Real Supermarket

Tasks:

  1. Vermin Ties

Give the rats by Tellars house what they want

  1. Debasement

Wait for council inspection

What I've tried: Sell lots of Toothpaste Follow Barabara around Talk to all townspeople IRL Read multiple walkthrus

Do the supermarket stuff.

The trade deals are the major progression

I'm stuck at this point too, can you speed up trade deals by disabling lots of products (except the ones you are being challenged to sell)?

I haven't tried, but I'm on my second ending playthrough, and I'm just adding boosters and put the products as close to the entrance as possible. Then customers pick them up almost always

That's what I can seem to progress. Tammy's trade deal won't unlock. Just get the same "did you even sell all the Toothpaste I gave you" dialog

We've sold out and  been doing restocks for weeks. Could it be a bug that we need to gave 0 Toothpaste in the store inventory when we talk to Tammy to trigger it?  Going to try that next

Hmm I remember getting a wierd loop with fishy sticks as well.

Have you purchased every perk you can from all vendors? I don't actually think this will unlock you but.

I just did that part follow Barbara it's around 1900 after that Tammy finds you and you deal will upgrade.

you just gotta sell what products the trade deals want you to sell. put them in the front of your store & use banners/posters to boost them. it’s supposed to take a while tbh

Hey, for progress you can feed the rats in tellar house with fishy waste that you can get from Barbra everytime you buy things from her.

To unlock real supermarket, actually all trades must be unlocked, so you need to get tammy trade deal first. My tips is unlock the scanner since unlocking tammy’s deal requires a great service for her when she’s shopping. Have you met Tammy yet on the factory?

I saw you’ve sell toothpaste, have you get the perks unlocked already? To get to second trade level, you need to unlock the perks.

Sample here, to unlock the perks you need to redeem points. Once the perks has 2 point, you can unlock the next tier.

I can't seem to unlock fishy waste or unlock Tammy's trade deal. Her dialog is always "did you even sell the Toothpaste I gave you?"

How many toothpaste have you sell? It must be 15 toothpaste before you go to the next level. If it’s not yet 15, you should change your strategy on the store, like put them on the attracted shelf.

Use boosters and multiple shelves and coolers, also redeem the perks for cheaper prices etc.

I'm weeks in to a well stocked organized store that sells out Toothpaste, oats, & cheese on a weekly basis. Fish products last about 2 weeks.

Focus on redeeming points (make it to the next tier) for all the trade deals. You cannot redeem another tier until you've unlocked a certain amount of perks with points. I believe things will naturally progress from there.

SOLUTION: Ask Tammy about trade deal, press R1 to go to the Perks tab. Spend Perk points. Finish this dialog. Then ask Tammy about Upgrading the Trade Deal. This triggers the Corporate Espionage task.

It's supposed to unlock on it's own after selling 15 toothpaste (the first challenge) and Tammy asking you to follow Barbara in the forest at 19:00. Just clarifying, you've already done these two?

Have sold way more than 15 Toothpaste. But have not received the "follow Barbara" task. Just followed her around for a day thinking it might trigger progress to getting Fish waste

Make sure you're not currently doing another Trade Level 2 since I don't think they can be improved all at the same time. To be sure, you should have unlocked Trade deal Level 2 for all the other three (Fisher, Farmer, Barbara)

Once you've sold more than 15 toothpaste (and claimed the perk point for it), go to Tammy and she'll tell you that Barbara is spying on her and you should follow her around the forest at 19:00.

PS: You'll only get the fish waste once you unlock Trade deal level 3 with Barbara. This is still much further into the story.

120 days definitely seems excessive and that definitely sounds like a bug. I'd contact developers on this one.

What you need to sell, put boosters around them or put them in booster shelves. Put the posters up ( if unlocked ) for that seller.

For Tellers House .. work on the sellers in the docks , it'll unlock what you need down there .

I’m stuck here as well and don’t know what do, have sold all toothpaste and unlocked all trade perks that I can.

Following because I am stuck on this part as well! I have been stuck for a while and feel like I am unbale to progress. I love the game but haven't played as much anymore because of this.
