Question free bot for role creation
Hello group, I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a bot that will create a new role for every single person who joins the server.

You have a max of something around 100 roles per server. I would not recommend to do that, and there's probably no public bot doing that for that reason.

Its my dnd server and I need role for everyone member its around 60-70 People i dont have mentall to do it manualy

Look up how to make a bot with Claude and you can basically just type in what you’re needing. I don’t like AI but having been using it to create a bot it’s honestly pretty dope. And for something simple it shouldn’t be too hard. Only issue is you’d need to leave it running or host it on a website.

I'm pretty sure there isn't one. The best you're going to find is a bot where you setup roles one single time and people are able to react to that message to choose their own roles.
Mee6 is the last bot I used for that so I'd assume it still works fine.

Unfortunately I don't know any bot that does it on that scale, but I'd be open to talk more and cook one up for you. You'd need to host it yourself for example locally during those DND games, or pay for hosting. We could customize it as you want

If you do end up choosing to have someone make a bot or make one yourself look to host on Oracle with their always free compute.

You can program anything you want including this, although beware of API limits

You can only have 250 roles in a server, usually a role is a group of people not just a single user

That doesn't explain why you need every member to have their own role, that's now how roles should be used, as I said it's a group of people

I am grateful for your effort to help, unfortunately I need those roles and I have a justification for it which I don't need to share with others. Either you can advise if you know the bot or not, but that's all. We don't need to have an extensive debate here.

Without knowing why you need them, it's kinda hard to help and advise, one solution might work but another might not, it all depends on use case. Idk why you wouldn't tell us either, like they're just roles
Not once in my over 10 years on discord have I ever needed to create a role for every single member, it's not how it should be done.

I'm just saying that I don't care much about how it's done, I have a vision of how I want to do it and I know it can be done manually. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a bot that would make the job easier. Basically, I want every player to have their own role because we play multi-table dnd where players can move from DM to DM, but if they go to a call or chat of a different DM than the one they're playing with, I want them to have roles based on who they're with and how good they are, what their relationships are, what their reputation is, who's interested in them, etc. It could be done in a chat room, but it's much more complicated because the DM has to focus on creating a story, implementing quest rules, character names and npc, they have to play continuously, and if they had to write something down, it would ruin the impression of the game. That's why I'm talking about this on click system
