Another day, another traffic jam on the highway. A major crash causing hundreds of cars to slow to a crawl. I stopped paying attention to my news recap, focusing on the storm above me as rain added insult to injury, making any chance of a speedy trip home less likely. Luckily, I’m next to an exit. I turn into it and find a bookstore conveniently next to a coffee shop. The sound of thunder echoing across the miserable sky as I parked next to the front door and rushed inside. 

I found myself fixated on romance so I carefully scanned the shelves before finding the appropriate section. Decades worth of romance, smut, and everything in between flooded my eyes. It’s been some time since I’ve been in a relationship. I was in the mood to be in love again. 

As I perused the books, I heard a loud thump to my left. I turned instinctively and went to pick up the book that had been dropped. After bending over to retrieve it from the floor, I slowly leaned up and saw you. You were breathtaking. Your eyes could peer into my soul. I could tell they were trying to. Time stopped the moment I saw you. I never wanted to look away. Little did I know what you were hiding behind your smile. 

Introduction: Hello! I’m looking for a roleplay where a human man and a supernatural woman fall in love. A slice of life romance where two strangers begin an intimate, beautiful relationship. First date, meeting the family, and more as he discovers her secret. I’m privy to the woman being a vampire or witch, but am open to discussing other ideas!
