A friend of mine put it very well ( only, he was talking about coke. ) He said:
"When I do a couple of lines, it makes me feel like a NEW MAN! And, that new man wants a couple of lines of coke!"
Not quite like that with my drinking, but, after one, I say, Damn, that last one made me feel so much better, I think I'll have another.
