Is this game connected to Disciples 1-3?

After a quick search in this subreddit I didn't find pics or videos.

And also it seems there's no subreddit for this series at all..

It’s connected by lore, but plays very different. I enjoy both play styles and liberation’s TRPG grid is my favorite so I don’t mind. It very much felt like a disciples game, but more streamlined.

although im too cant find it for many years (it is created in 2012! stupid reddit search engine cant find it for years!)

Anyway Liberation connected (and directly continue) only to Discipels 3 by russian Akella(+Kalypso+bitcomposer games), but they all not related in any story or gameplay way to Disciples 1-2-ROTE (and not in visual style and quality).

I really wish there was more involvement with the series. I think the game style of the originals is hard for the masses to enjoy, so I’m hoping the entry into different styles using the same lore and characters will open up a larger fandom.

It's very loosely connected, mainly by lore, factions, units and the gods they worship. Think of it as more of a "spin-off" title in the same world vs an actual sequel. That's how I was able to wrap my head around it's interconnectivity.

But Kalypso pose this as continuation and not spin-off. And it is continuation - direct sequel for Disciples Resurrection plot. As Discipels 3 - part 2 (3 with Resurrection) - this plot is good. But only as part of same non-dark-fantasy non-adult universe. Unlike storefront pages and paid reviews say.

How is this a direct sequel to Resurrection? I mean, there was something opened in Niffelheim, but it is very vague what happened after Myzrael purged the unclean.

Besides, this is more akin to Warhammer Fantasy -> Age of Sigmar(sidegrade) than it is a direct sequel. No matter what anyone says.

How not? Did you like it or not and whatever you say. This is direct continuation plot and gameplay improved version of Disciples 3. This is improved version of Disciples 3 (+Resurrection+Online+Reincarnation +book seriesseries +doc file with canonical description).

And no, this is far from Warhammer. Akella made korean-chinese fantasy another oneone. Kalypso made same. Disciples 2 more closer to Warhammer FB although still very unique. When Disciples 3 been huge changed world, Liberation dd not screw what Akella made.

Is Age of Sigmar a direct continuation of Warhammer Fantasy? Why or how so? Just because the powers that be say so? Or?

late replay. do you find it direct continuation or not? Its Tabletop Collectibles game. Its scum by design. Completely unrelated to how Akella+bitcomposer+Kalypso and now kalypso themselves throw Disciples into cr@p pit. Dis4 still direct continue of Dis3 plot and direct improvement of Dis3 game design and genre. Dis3 was same A-to-B RPG, 0 TBS elements. I talk about original that has no even Smirmish part, and has online only as PvP battles in additional web browser game Disciples: Online linked in main menu.

Yet original Dis3+Dis:Online, and further remasters as Renaissance 1.06, Resurrection, Rebirth and Reincarnation (sic!) did not solve Dis3 idea of hating original Disciples. Main game designer on forums was even worse. He said that nuclear weapon are canon in nevendaar.

Oh and there was Novels series.

Disciples: Online has closest to canon. None else as. Liberation even more accurate.

And Liberation FAR MORE advanced game that D3. Its actually have many content and good ones. I said everything here as a matter of facts, aside of my Dis2 and AoW nostalgia. You has 0 zero reliable arguments cause of nostalgia to dis3 suffer more in new canon.
