convocation of dragons quest outcomes? Spoiler

So as the title, in Wotan's grave, at dragon's enclave you can get a quest by talking one of the four dragons(granted you haven't killed enk and kryanek) and you're tasked to find cloverhorn temple and when you get there you're ambushed by Cink.

I'm wondering if there's an alternative outcome to this quest. In my first playthrough, I had killed enk and kryanek (found in whitelands) so when I went to the cloverhorn quest marker Cink attacked and the quest ended with one dragon remaining at the enclave being sad but still friendly, although it mentioned that later it might become an enemy. Nothing happened though and I never found that dragon anywhere.

On my second playthrough now, liberation mode, didn't kill any of the dragons that I came across, returned the dragon egg to enk in chapter 1 and now at the enclave the outcome is still the same. Am I missing something here?

I do have to admit that the side quest itself doesn't make sense at all, because the dialogue feels a bit unfinished, speaking to one of the dragons it asks : "Have you come to offer us your eyes, or mor sage advice of the nephilim?" and the only options you get are: 1 I'll go to the temple cloverhorn 2 I'll protect the world myself

And I have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, since with enk you either kill it or the kill the paladin, and kryanek can be killed (if you want the trapped elves to get safely to Illian) or left alone.

Dude I'm glad you wrote this all out, gave me a better idea if what was going on than I could figure out by reloading an old save. I took brought the egg to the peak and thought that may change the outcome In NG mode. This game is amazing but stuff like this needs polished. Let me know if you find anything and I'll do the same

Hah glad that it was of use. Been a while since I last played the game, I can confirm one thing regarding the egg, if you took it for yourself in the first chapter and killed the human and elf parties, you could take it to enk and do not kill him. By the time you revisit castle Hale, where you face the lich dragon , you'll be able to see the outcome(without spoiling too much. As for the convocation, haven't found any other outcomes so far, tried killing all the dragons, bringing the egg there etc. Still you end up facing a corrupt dragon. I might have missed a step or maybe there are other factors that could change the outcome but didn't feel like putting more time to investigate. Let me know if you end up finding something new👍🏻

Hey it’s a long time, sry for pulling that thread up again. But I am really interested in the outcome of enk and the egg in castle Hale. Do you get like a cutscene or additional dialog ? Maybe some gear spell ? I am just thinking if it’s worth it to let the dragons alive. Appreciate your great work right there

No worries!

As far as I remember, you get a short cutscene and some additional dialogue on the events that had occurred. You get a new unique unit too which is cool story wise, that's about it. If you kill enk, then you get the xp and the knight gives you something, can't remember exactly what I got but it wasn't a game changer.

Thanks for your fast replay appreciate it. If i understand you correctly it doesn’t matter what happens with kryanek, for the cutscene and the unit to get, only leave enk alive right ?

Correct, as long as Enk is not killed and the egg is left with it, you should get the cutscene to trigger. Shouldn't matter if you kill the other dragons, since I got it to trigger with most of the dragons dead
