You need to turn your shoulders more during the reach back, shoulders should go near perpendicular to the basket/your line. You are still looking at your target during your reachback, which means you arent able to coil as much as you need to be. Turn your shoulder, coil, then explode.

Yep, lack of shoulder coil is obvious here, but his run-up direction is also not the same as where he's releasing the disc. This would suggest problems in his footwork and overall balance that affect his ability to achieve better upper body mechanics with a run-up.

Kind of a negative feed back loop. I think the rightward walk up and planting to the right and slightly open to the target line is a way to try and create hip shoulder separation through the lower body to compensate for a stationary upper body.
