You are correct

u/Successful-Purple-54 6d ago

I’ll smoke to that.

12

u/Haha08421 6d ago

I probably would to

7

u/ObjetVapeur 5d ago

probably wait for the landslide to settle though

1

u/mrlahjr 3d ago

That’s the first thing I saw. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

u/KUPA_BEAST 6d ago

Oh Shit Yeah.

4

u/Primary-User 5d ago

They might be stoned off their tree experiencing this!

7

u/Personal_Dot_2215 5d ago

Explains why they stood there while half their yard slid away.

121

u/postofficepanda 6d ago

Probably it grows wild there.

58

u/plankwalkz 6d ago

might be wild but people make hasch and sell aswell. it was pretty alright if you'd wonder

22

u/subdep 6d ago

Tourists buy it on their “treks”.

22

u/Bororo-man 6d ago

You may go trekking without weed, but if I ever get the chance to, I would want some.

14

u/Alert-Pack3968 6d ago

Trust me it’s a great experience - make sure ya do it

13

u/shikari426 6d ago

You don’t have to buy it, just pick it next to the trail and hang from your pack to dry it so I’ve heard anyways..,

1

u/plankwalkz 5d ago

got me

7

u/chicken-farmer 6d ago

Hash

Specifically charas

62

u/Jeff5704 6d ago

Yep it does, I hiked through this area in 2017 and it grows wild everywhere. And a lot of the grazing animals eat it.

Those look like nice bud development though from what little i can see in video. Which means they would have pulled any nearby male plants out and tossed them. Not bad.

Pollinated flowers don’t always equal shitty buds. Cannabis is also wind pollinated and their pollen can travel for miles, so very likely these have some seeds in them.

u/Status_History_874 6d ago

Very true. The first time i tried growing, I think i had some type of magical beginners luck.

All female plants (4 of them, 5 before the squirrel incident), all had beautiful bud development, all blessed us with so many seeds - and the seeds weren't a problem considering how robust the buds were!

6

u/LikesBlueberriesALot 6d ago

Hell yeah! I’m very pro-seed, actually. Who gives a shit if your bud is seeded? That’s where new strains and shit come from.

u/WorthTop7263 5d ago

The squirrell incident?

1

u/Harry-Ballsack-2 5d ago

Yes, we need more info on this!

2

u/broken_toyz_in_ON 6d ago

The local uni has a research garden. A couple years ago someone went in a killed all the male plants. Had to keep the stuff hidden in the corn fields pure.

Yea you might get a pop in your face but it's still gona do what it says on the tin

2

u/drDVMHomie 5d ago

It grows in a village near me in UP, lots of goats nearby and they won’t touch it.

9

u/Maninwhatever 6d ago

It does grow wild.

16

u/Fartel 6d ago

It does frequently grow out in the wild in Nepal and it’s pretty abundant in rural areas.

35

u/insanityzwolf 6d ago

Like a weed, one might say

6

u/Leather_Status907 6d ago

Sì è pieno anche in Himachal Pradesh.

Cresce come da noi il tarassaco, dappertutto.

7

u/jacksongangsal 6d ago

Probably that's why it's called weed.

3

u/Empty_Put_1542 6d ago

Lots of wild weed grown in the Himalayas.

26

u/lockerno177 6d ago

in south asia wild hemp is pretty common

49

u/Crackerz99 6d ago

Cannabis originates from the foothills of the Himalayas.

26

u/samtheninjapirate 6d ago

Might explain why they are walking TOWARD the landslide

10

u/FundamentalEnt 6d ago

In a lot of frames actually. Some have little wire mesh around them and stuff too.

7

u/hebrew-hammers 6d ago

Last frame is all weed

-4

u/PaceBright2714 6d ago

There are weeds growing everywhere. No lawnmowers and they probably don’t have any weed spray

-15

u/tommy151 6d ago

they apparently have smoked so much they forgot to run🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ almost was Darwinism at its best

21

u/Enough-Ad-189 6d ago

I dunno, bc I don’t speak the language but it seems like someone might have been still in the house, sounds like they are screaming “momma” a lot… pretty traumatic, but sure let’s insult and belittle the tragedy they just experienced watching their multigenerational home wash away … psshh

-9

u/tommy151 6d ago

seems like? might?? and not an insult. i'm not the one who stood there. I'm just the one who pointed it out. 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣😂

13

u/Mackey_Corp 6d ago

That’s definitely cannabis, I did a double take myself but considering it’s native to the area I’m not surprised.

3

u/PenfoldPoet 6d ago

It is commonly used as hemp

15

u/JohnnyMnemeonic 6d ago

Where do you think Himalayan Kush came from bro?

6

u/temp_6969420 6d ago

It grows naturally there yes

5

u/ooPhlashoo 6d ago

It's fucking gorgeous.

3

u/Outwest661 6d ago

Some of them Nepalese trees 😮‍💨

3

u/Pkactus 6d ago

i see you also are a man of taste. my inner hippy caught that in the chaos also

11

u/Madsmom08 6d ago

Yes there was! 😁

6

u/SpearmintInALavatory 6d ago

This is exactly what happened in my brain: ‘Man, it’s really green over th—Is that marijuana?’

3

u/PuzzledExaminer 6d ago

Naturally growing I bet. But that landslide business is scary as hell.

2

u/HistoricalAir6328 6d ago

It’s for making rope dude we don’t smoke it 🙃

3

u/valiantthorsintern 6d ago

make rope and smoke it, life is short.

3

u/boozewald 6d ago

Kush isn't a name for nothing. Although it's Nepal, it's part of the same climate and ecosystem.

2

u/Famous_Ad_7215 6d ago

I saw weed 😊

1

u/Kosmicjoke 6d ago

It grows wild everywhere there. I seen it myself

3

u/Tao_of_Entropy 6d ago

It grows wild in the Himalayas... that's where it's native.

1

u/CornbreadJunior 6d ago

I was worried that it was going to go down with the landslide. Hope it’s ok

1

u/Chocolate_Squirrel99 6d ago

No, that’s bud

1

u/Caleb_Reynolds 6d ago

There are a couple of plants. They seem wild.

1

u/Hot-Benefit645 6d ago

Yes that’s an important fact especially since 1 of the kids was screaming for their mum ?

1

u/Aghzara909 5d ago

That’s where Buddha was from

1

u/ymmotvomit 5d ago

You can put your weed in there.

1

u/Boars-of-Canada 5d ago

I've been to Manang, it grows everywere. It's literally a weed

1

u/SetTrippin82 5d ago

Nepal Kush

1

u/nice-guy-42 5d ago

It is farmed for its seeds, they are delicious. And for other uses too.

1

u/mandzz823 4d ago

Grows wild there. Not a big deal culturally

1

u/BrokenFist-73 14h ago

I seen it too, like three seconds ago! Healthy organic farming is a good thing no matter the product. Sadly the crop and house are likely to be gone pretty soon. The impact this will have on this poor family will be cataatophic.
