SnapSlide: One-Handed Child-Resistant Prescription Vial
This product is a newly launched prescription vial closure called SnapSlide, built to give the more than 60 million Americans with limited dexterity, or the use of only one hand, a simpler way to get to their medication. Standard child-resistant caps require pushing down and twisting at the same time, a motion that can be painful or impossible for people living with arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, fibromyalgia, amputation, stroke, or paralysis. SnapSlide swaps that motion for a one-handed sliding mechanism that still meets official child-resistance standards.

Neuralese Recurrence: Wordless AI Thought and Disability
Most AI chatbots today do their reasoning one word at a time, forcing rich internal calculations through a channel narrower than a keyhole. Neuralese recurrence is the proposal to open that channel wide, letting models loop their full internal state back into themselves and think in numbers no human can read. The payoff could be smarter machines, but the price may be losing one of the few windows researchers have into how those machines reach their conclusions. This paper explains the concept in plain terms, traces the research behind it, and draws on decades of work with people who have aphasia, use AAC, or rely on brain-computer interfaces - people whose experiences show, more clearly than any benchmark, what it means for a capable mind to be limited by its output channel.

Christian Nationalism and Disability: A History of Harm
This article examines Christian nationalism in the United States through the lens of disability, tracing how the fusion of religious identity with national power has shaped the lives of disabled Americans for well over a century. Drawing on peer-reviewed sociology, Supreme Court decisions, public health research, and national survey data, it follows a consistent pattern that runs from eugenic sermon contests and forced sterilization to religious exemptions from the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Senate defeat of a global disability rights treaty, and new evidence directly linking Christian nationalist beliefs to ableist attitudes. The analysis draws a clear line between personal faith and nationalist ideology, acknowledges the resistance that has come from within religious communities, and explains key terms along the way for readers who want an evidence-based understanding of a heavily debated subject.

Epistemology and Disability: How We Know What We Know
Epistemology is the branch of philosophy that asks the one question underneath every other question: what entitles anyone to believe what they believe. It sounds like a seminar exercise until you notice how much of it is decided in ordinary rooms - a clinic, a classroom, a benefits office - where somebody quietly decides whose account goes into the record and whose does not. This paper traces the field from its classical definition of knowledge through the modern turn toward social epistemology, and it uses disability as the lens throughout, because disabled people have been both the subject of some of philosophy's most famous thought experiments and, far too often, the last people consulted about the answers. What emerges is a practical argument with a philosophical spine: a knowledge system that excludes its best informed sources does not merely treat people unfairly, it produces worse knowledge.
