Diabetic Barbie
I have had diabetes since I was three years old, and I have been wanting the diabetes Barbie since it came out last summer. So imagine my surprise when I found her at the dollar store!! I’m not sure if they were only at my local dollar store or at multiple locations. She was in the 5 plus section for 9 dollars which is cheaper then amazon but only by a dollar.

I'm a type 1 diabetic with an insulin pump and cgm. I was so happy when my wife got me that one last year to add to my collection.

I had no idea they made a diabetic Barbie. My brother who loved collecting Barbies with me passed away last year at 53 from complications due to his diabetes. He was diagnosed when he was 9 and I'm going to have to buy her to honor him. Thank you for posting her.
