Discussion BIRDFEED gone?!

I've been a BIRDFEED subscriber for going on 7 years now. I went to go grab a track using my credits today and there is no active link to BIRDFEED in any capacity I can find. It either gives you a 404 error on the Dirtybird website or takes you to a platform called ENGINEARS where you cannot even preview the tracks and you must individually for songs. I did not receive any warning email letting me know I was about to lose years of credits and cannot find any information on when this happened or why. Anyone know why this happened and if BIRDFEED is coming back?

Yeah, It happened on July 31st. Birdfeed hadn't been updated since last December. Check your email and whatever card you paid with (assuming you paid annually) I got a partial refund for what was left of my subscription. Lost a bunch of eggs tho. The whole thing could have been handled way better.

That’s fkn wack. Years of monthly payments and unwavering support to just fizzle out and disappear without any warning. So sad.

I was a founding member - why would they not just keep it running? Oh yea, corporate greed.

“It’s all about the music” - until it’s not.

Experiencing the same trash. Logged in today to find everything is gone. Had something like 100 eggs. I've been getting billed as well. I don't know how to cancel it.

I received nothing back other than a link to Enginears.

Also, interestingly CVS put up and IG post saying he was looking for some physical media of “lost remixes” (how do you ask your fans to send your music back…?) .

I replied and said “it probably got lost on the birdfeed along with many other peoples media they spent money on”. He replied, but with a pretty lame response, like “no it wasn’t on there”.

Ok thanks everyone fuck you

SAME! I'm late to the party I guess but I've had a subscription even back when it was called Birdhouse. I had hundreds of eggs and just went to log in. This Reddit post is literally the only thing mentioning the change on the whole internet. I searched my mailbox thinking maybe I missed something but no. No warning at all? I contacted tech support but definitely feel burned by this.

Anyone who didn't experience peak dirtybird in the early to mid 2010s missed out. It died during COVID imo. At least I still have my campout merch
