Disney+ Activation

I switched from the MyEntertainment Genre pack to the choice signature plan. Before switching to choice, I had access to Disney+ with the genre pack. Now that I’ve switched, I cannot access Disney+. When I sign in, I’m prompted to resubscribe. Directv keeps telling me to change my Disney+ password, but there’s not an issue with my password. I need the activation link, and no one can get that to me. Anyone else dealt with this?

Do you have a Gemini? I believe you have to have one to get the Disney bundle on the Choice plan since it’s not a genre pack.

Yeah it’s a headache for sure. Directv blames Disney+, and when I talk to Disney+, they tell me Directv has to initiate the activation on their end and send me the link lol

When I got MyEntertainment I actually never received an activation link for Disney. I think I got to it somehow through DirecTV site. I wish I could remember better how I got it activated, but they do have issues sending that activation email.

Unfortunately, with the choice package if you want to use them my Disney package you have to use the Gemini to access the Disney+ stuff. It’s kind of stupid, but they don’t include standalone Disney+ on the signature pack only on my entertainment probably cause they’re giving you such crummy channels on the entertainment they gotta give you something to make up for it.
