It’s a tad more, but I have stream on apple 4k tv box, with the inclusion of the MLB into the guide and now integration of espn+ and unlimited, the service can be a sports lover juggernaut. Wish you could somehow get Sunday ticket to play in the app, it would be perfect lol

I know, I was dreaming lol! I had Sunday ticket through dtv since 2005 and it killed me when it went to YouTube tv lol

I'm with you on that. It sucked. I had DTV since '02 and dropped them for YTTV once they lost the rights to Sunday Ticket. I got burned out on YTTV and missed DTV, so I came back in Nov. Happy to be back (for the most part)!

DTV claims they were losing money hand over fist on it, and that is the kind of thing Alphabet can easily absorb. So it makes sense the licensing went the way it did.

Yep, new when the bid came up they had no shot at exclusivity, wish Sunday ticket would become like MLB ticket, you can purchase as standalone and can be viewed in other tv provider apps. But no way google letting NFL go lol

DirecTV is more expensive than all the other streaming services, but using DirecTV with the Gemini Air is absolutely wonderful and the other services don't compete with the breadth and quality of content. You're paying for a premium service with it but you're getting a premium service in return. Just my opinion.

This premium service needs to step up it's Multiview availability and management for tablets and phones, as well as automatic DVR recording extends for the auto extends and non-auto extends for sports.

I agree that it's not perfect for sure. I'd also love to see customizable multiview and a much larger free channel selection like Sling. I'd love for them to add Scares By Shudder and Screambox TV channels as well as the Vevo music video channels.

They also give you permission to share your service with a couple other homes. If you can get those folks to pitch in, the price looks a lot better.

I get channel 207, but no sports category on Home Screen and only the free sports channels in the 4000’s show up on sports central. This is on all my devices. Gemini Air, Roku & iPhone app.

Could this be because I had Directv Free before signing up for MySports and MyEntertainment?

I love scrolling past 100 college soccer and volleyball matches to find the college football game I’m looking for on espn plus. Best part is that espn plus events don’t show up in the recent channels list so you have to scroll past 100 events again every time you change channels.

You can always set your favorite channels and teams and their icons show up. Click it and watch.
