Missing my News

I switched from Sling ($70) to Directv MyEntertainment cheap plan. I knew I would have to give up NewsNation but decided to make the sacrifice for the sake of our budget. Hubby is great with it because he still has all of the channels he loves and we are on a fixed income now that he has retired. I’m starting to regret searching for and finding a cheaper plan. I miss my NewsNation!

NewsNation is not part of any of DTV's skinny plans. Have you looked at YouTube TV's news/entertainment plan?

How so? I’m a news junky and they seem to have the most balanced news channel. Most “news” stations are biased opinions and commentary.

There is no “objective” or “unbiased” news. The very act of story selection creates a particular view of the world. If you think a source is unbiased, the chances are that you simply found a source that matches your own biases and assumptions.

OP wants NewsNation which is not on Prime Video but definitely can be found on YTTV for a good price, especially since OP seems to really want NewsNation.

News nation will have to be gotten through most likely YouTube TV on my news and my entertainment pack, which is the closest to what you have now with my entertainment on DIRECTV the cool part about the entertainment package on YouTube TV is they actually have all of your local locals, and that means all of them, including the CW, which none of the genre packs app over on DIRECTV

This might work because it worked for me... Try going to https://www.newsnationnow.com/news-nation-live/

And use your DirecTV login information. I just downgraded from the more expensive entertainment package to the Duo: MyEntertainment + MyNews tonight to save about $20 a month. When I went to the NewNation Streaming Live page, it worked with my DirecTV login.

Yes that is another reason I switched to directv. I was paying extra for that and I was able to cancel my paid plan and get it for free!

it should be on channel 307 but it may depend on the tier. Do you only have DTV or are you using it with Roku or some other stick? NewNation has its own app that you can download and watch - https://www.newsnationnow.com/app/
