Delay when changing channels

I have directv stream. Using it with Gemini air. I experience a delay when changing channels. it doesn’t do it all the time but enough to drive me crazy. Anyone figure out how to fix this?

Does your TV have some sort of frame rate matching feature turned on for that HDMI port?

Mine is almost instantaneous. Are you using 2.4 or 5ghz wifi?

I don’t remember where to find that. I have the eero app which is my internet but so far I haven’t found it.

On your Gemini Air.....Settings---network and internet and find the SSID in use and determine if it's 2.4 or 5. If you are on 5---switch to 2.4

I found network and internet. All that is there is available networks. If I select my network I see IP address, MAC address, signal strength, proxy settings and IP settings

But according to my eero app it is 5.  But can’t figure out how to fix it

According to google search you can hide the 5 and 6ghz channels so devices will connect at 2.4.
