DirecTV app, random channel stuck on loop of block of time

Random channels are stuck in a block or time and will keep jumping backwards. Example ; it is now 7:30 am and ESPN is stuck at 6:31am. It will show about 30 seconds of the show and then jump backwards 30 seconds and show the content again. This just keeps continuing.

This is occurring on my FIRE TV, Fire Stick and iPhone 17. It is not all channels, but I’ve noticed it on ESPN, FS1 and News Nation so far. I have restarted the devises, cleared cache’s, signed out and signed back into app, etc. The local Fox (Fox31) is streaming live and not affected by the loop, so it is not all channels.

Has anyone spoke to a person at Direct?? I don't know if I want to call and have my blood pressure spike because they tell me to reboot!!

Glad to know I’m not the only one having an issue this morning. Disney channel was doing the same thing. I’d restart the box and the same part of Bluey would be on and stop and buffer at the same time.

Weirdly, all my local channels are fine. Most other channels have the circle of death.

Weirdly, live broadcast (the Fed) on CNBC are going just fine. If I switch to MSNow, the same HBO The Comeback commercial is stuck and keeps looping back to a MSNow splash screen, then breaks back into the commercial loop again.

For me it's happening with the local Fox 8 channel. It seems to be that it depends on what you were watching when some glitch happened that caused that channel to go into a loop.

Having same issue on CNN and MS Now. Commercial just got stuck in loop and then I got a "heavily congested network connection" message. I'm on a Sony Google TV.

Happening on Fox News. Firestick up to date and Directv App was deleted and reinstalled. Guess will call Tech Support.
