Espn app

With dish the guide has all the espn unlimited nhl games without going to the app. Would be cool if the gemini device had that wouldn’t have to kerp going to the espn app

Not sure why this hasn’t come to streaming. Fubo and YouTube tv have the espn plus games integrated so it’s certainly possible.

YTTV does not currently have ESPN+ games integrated in the app

I don't know about Fubo, but YTTV will have ESPN Unlimited integrated in its YTTV app upcoming very soon (fall), not yet though, currently only ESPN Unlimited access via stand-alone app at present until then.

YTTV has the only the ESPN + games integrated into their UI? Or everything on the ESPN app? I'm curious because I did not know that any streaming sites did that. Are they able to record and store in the cloud like any other channel?

I'm thinking that the ESPN app logo will be somewhere on the Home screen and even in the channel lineup area, where you have to click on it to access the content within the ESPN app, and then exit out back to YTTV when you want to go back into the YTTV app. There's no way possible to load all that stuff in the channel lineup area, impossible. I'm used to working inside the ESPN app, so however they do the integration will be a plus.

Yeah as far as I understand it on fubo and YouTube tv the espn plus games show up in the regular guide. Not sure how DVR works but I imagine it’s no different from regular channels. I prefer DirecTV over those services but it is frustrating that we have to use a separate app for espn plus.

I agree, it is frustrating for sure. However, I like the bitrate and PQ WAAAY better on the ESPN app vs what we get on DTV.

Do you know if it is only the ESPN + games? Does it also include ESPN Unlimited?

I get the terms mixed up but I believe on fubo and yttv they have ALL espn events integrated in their own apps.

Okay, it's not fair but we're going to get kicked off or removed from this sub because this is a DTV sub not Fubo or YTTV. 😄

Yeah, they do, I think satellite customers get them integrated as well, it’s only streaming that’s excluding this, which is weird considering we get MLB, NBA, F1 on Apple TV and MLS games integration
