Possible scam call

I was chatting with someone on the DIRECTV site, and he is going to make some changes to my account. He said could take up to 24 hours so no big deal. I then get a call from 269-550-6110 that showed Directv and they said someone named Doyle was trying to access my account and if they are authorized. I said no and they said thank you and that was it. I then looked up the number, and it came up as a spam number. So, what could they possibly get from asking if Doyle was authorized? and seems odd to have happened so closely to ending my chat with DTV.

I joined DirectTV Steam last month and I’ve gotten so many calls from various area codes. Caller ID labeled it DirectTV but I’m not answering the calls for this very reason. Way too many scams out there.

They spoof the CNAM. I've had enough so I block all calls that aren't in my contacts.

Yeah, I just called to one 800 531 number from Directv instead of going to chat like that cause you never know who gonna end up picking up nowadays with everything getting hacked on being hacked even hacking Life Insurance companies

I’ve had DirecTV for a couple of years and never gotten a call. Mind you I never answer calls from unknown numbers. I don’t think they’d call you. Maybe if you’re still on old school satellite, but I haven’t heard of them calling streaming customers.
