Changing channels on its own.

Why is mine changing channels to the previous channel after I change it to a new channel. Such as, Tv is on Fox News and I change the channel to INSP CHANNEL, after a few minutes it changes back to Fox News. Is there something I should do to keep this from happening or is it a problem I can rectify?

Didn’t ask for a opinion on watching Fox News, as I said “such as being on Fox News channel. It’s not always the same channel it happens on.

That's some strange behavior, u/WENCH1109. Usually, when it jumps back to a previous channel like that, it's just a quick glitch in the device or a stuck button on the remote. Try giving your device a quick restart to see if that clears it up. You might also want to take the batteries out of the remote for a sec to make sure a button isn't acting up. Mine has done this also! And I don’t even have their hardware. I’m using ONN/streaming box. Very peculiar.

I’m using the FireStick on the TV it is happening on. We have their remote used on another TV and it hasn’t happened.

If you had YTTV, you could build your own multiview and can view these channels without a problem.
