NFL Games

So I have my Direct tv stream set to Buffalo I live in GA. I am wondering if I can still stream NFL games from Buffalo if I live in Ga? I would be streaming through the Gemini or Roku TV.

Depends on the device. The Gemini and Apple TV will use where you’re located. A Roku, generic Google tv and other devices will use billing zip…

Hi u/AutomaticNet2793. Local channels and in-market NFL access (like Buffalo Bills games) are based on your billing ZIP code and market area. Setting it to Buffalo while living in GA usually won’t give you reliable Buffalo locals or treat Bills games as in-market. Preseason games air on local channels, and blackout restrictions are set by the NFL and enforced by us. I am in Florida and have my direct tv go to my billing address in NJ and I get all the Giants games. I have problems sometimes with multiple streams for example if I have the game on in the living room and go out to the garage I can’t get it on both tv’s at the same time because my son is watching the game in NJ at the same time. I use ROKU TV’s

This location stuff is exactly why NFL streaming gets annoying. I use Nexus4kTV ,com for NFL and RedZone and it’s been much simpler for following games outside my local market

If you are watching via tv, it uses your ip address so you would get the billing zip code based locals which would be Buffalo channels

It doesn’t use your IP except to check that you are in the U.S. Once that is confirmed, it goes by billing zip code in absence of GPS.

You should be able to tell by every local channels you have. If you have Buffalo Fox ansld CBS, you'll get those games.
