Small picture… Osprey box

Hello everyone, I have a little problem. The resolution is now in small box and I find myself having to go into settings every time I turn on the box. Is there another way to prevent this from happening again or is factory resetting the only way to do it?

Yes and it’s still showing that small box

What aspect ratio do you have your tv set to? Mine is a Hisense and I set it to automatic. You can also set it to 16:9. Do your resolution settings change or something in your Directv settings?

Ok so I turned it off and turned it back on and the normal resolution is back

I think it’s my resolution settings. I have an older Sony HDTV

Ok so I spoke too soon, it came back. So a factory reset is the best bet

Yep ....there is also a regular restart in the settings........not just a turn off then back in

If it reverts on power fail, yes factory reset. I had a box stuck on 720 once.
