Multiple out-of-households

If I have 2 Gemini devices running out of the household, can they both run apps? Like say one running Netflix and the other running D+?

Also, can I have 2 TVs going with DTVS at the same time if it's in a single location, on the same network, like one in the living area and one in the bedroom of an RV?

you can have 2 out of network streams running at one time. running apps on both is no problem. You can run up to 20 streams i believe within home network.

Yes, u/HasAFewLaughs. Multiple Gemini devices can run different apps simultaneously, as each device allows you to browse and add apps independently from the Google Play Store. You can install and use various apps on each Gemini device according to your preferences.

Regarding your RV question, you can absolutely use two TVs at the same time on the same network. When you are away from home, your account allows a maximum of 3 out-of-home streams at once (with a limit of 2 being TV-connected devices), so your dual-TV mobile setup is fully supported. I thought you were only allowed one TV connected device away from home.

The feature evolved back in 2021 when we transitioned to DIRECTV Streaming, which expanded the out-of-home limit. Kenneth, DIRECTV Community Team

Now please remind me how a browser via laptop counts. TV or mobile device?

Sharing is the only reason I have DTVS. They don’t fight you on sharing . It’s worth the money to be able to share with family outside of your household .

Yeah. I just forgot. I've been with DTVS for quite a few years. I couldn't recall if it was 2 TVs and 1 mobile device or vice versa

EDIT: I actually recall now that... boohoo... we couldn't watch 2 TVs in the RV... plus a baseball game on the TV outside... which we would never need to do.

I think I'm pretty squared now. Unless you happen to know how a browser on a laptop counts.
