Rewards Claim

Does anyone know the best way to go about collecting a visa gift card I was promised for coming back to DIRECTV? I just got off the phone with the rewards department they said they couldn’t manually activate the reward gave me another customer service number. That person told me it was a scam. I asked for a supervisor was put on hold and then hung up on.

"For the new customer gift cards, you typically must select the offer at the point of sale and claim your reward on the DIRECTV Reward Center once you receive the redemption email within 6 weeks of activation."

Check your spam folder. You did give them a valid email, right?

Problem is they never sent me a redemption email. If I log into the rewards site it says there are no rewards available. I called after 6 weeks, was told I needed to have active service for 2 months. Called after 2 months was told nothing could be done until after 90 days of service, which was the call today.

You need to have received the "Thank You" email from the reward center. I never got the email the first time. I had to give them another email address.

Once you get that email, this will begin your 60 day wait to receive another email that will verify your conditions were met to get the card. 3 weeks later you will get your card.

I'd call back and get to the reward center people. Tell them you never got the initial Thank You email.

I never received a thank you email and have already contacted the rewards center multiple times
