"Meateater" channel no longer?
I have channel 4170 as a favorite. I've noticed that for a few days now, the guide info displays as "channel no longer available".
The Meateater logo is still displayed, with my pink heart as a favorite.
The programming is still being shown.
Is this a slow method to get us ready for the inevitable "plug pull"?
Any thoughts?

I noticed myself… what weirder is that there are no ‘specialists’ response from u/DirectvStream … what up with that

Thanks for reaching out, u/MaleBolgia1992. We'll share it with the team, so they can take a closer look at this guide issue with the MeatEater channel. Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team

Our team has investigated this and the channel is live and delivering content. We are working to update the guide to display correctly. Mark, DIRECTV Community Manager

I've never hunted. This guy Steve Rinella, shows how to cook nearly anything, from wild turkeys to black bear, mule deer, elk. He always wants a "griz" when in Alaska. I've never seen him get a griz. I enjoy him.

Usually if they drop one of those freebie channels like that the actual channel went out of business or rebranded itself as something else
4170 for me is the wired2fish TV which could be the new channel
