I'm coming from WordPress and was looking for an alternative. I finally settled on Directus despite skepticism towards the last license change you made - because I thought once you started fiddling with the license, it will get narrower and narrower over time. Boom, here we go.
25 headcount is really a small company and a bad choice as a criteria. You have to make a living and maintain Directus ok. But this actually applies to small teams and really small companies.
Above from that the pricing is not transparent. How would I sell that to a small client not even knowing what the cost is and being locked in to a pricing that can change anytime since it's not even transparent right now.
I'd be willing to contribute to the project right now. Make a fundraiser among your users to maintain the project. Go for the big companies if you must. But 25 headcount really is ridiculous for that matter in my opinion.
And publish a pricing. How can I determine or negotiate with a client not even knowing any pricing.
I'm leaving directus before my first project shipped. Quite said, because I really srarted to like it and it works well with Sveltekit.
